Beyonce as Alice
When asked which Disney character she would play as, Alice doesn’t seem like the one fit for Beyonce. And yet, the more you think of it, the more appropriate it seems. She’s a smart, strong, determined, curious young woman who has learned to navigate life with style and grace. Perfect!
Taylor Swift as Rapunzel
Taylor is famous for her signature looks with that gorgeous hair of hers. It’s only natural that the young star would play the fairytale princess with the most beautiful hair.
Vanessa Hudgens as Sleeping Beauty
Vanessa would not have been our first pick for Sleeping Beauty. But her strong features really own this role. We’re happy with this choice, especially with Zac Efron as the prince
She played one of our favorite precocious children in Harriet the Spy. She took on a few more roles but stayed out of the spotlight for a while as she focused on her education. The beauty re-emerged, crossing over from her Nickelodeon roots for the Disney film Ice Princess and later playing roles in 17 Again and Weeds.
Matthew Lewis played the kind-hearted Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films. He was never much to look at but as the series began to wrap up, we started noticing some potential. By 2012, Matthew turned into a serious babe, giving the world hope that sometimes puberty fixes all!
Acting since the age of 2, this young star became a household name as the youngest daughter on The Nanny. She dazzled as one of the most talented actors on the show and it transitioned into her career. She now has some even more impressive credits under her belt including roles on Californication and Heroes.
Another animal made famous from the movie, Ice Age, the saber-toothed cat is known for its teeth which extended down past its mouth and curved towards its body. It is believed that they pounced on victims, sunk their teeth in, and left it to flop around until it eventually bled to death.
The pyrenean ibex is a wild goat that was last seen in 2000 when a tree fell on it. The female was often mistaken for a deer because its fur was brown throughout the summer, and the males had large thick horns that curved outwards and backwards, and then outwards and downwards. Although it is technically extinct, scientists were able to successfully implant its DNA into a coat. Alas, it was alive!… for seven minutes.
The Wonderful World of Westeros
Here’s the big payoff. The full collection of Disney princesses as Game of Thrones characters by artist Sam Tsui.
Rapunzel as Sansa Stark
There’s actually a correlation here. Rapunzel and Sansa Stark both spent a good deal of time locked up.
Lilo as Arya Stark
This one is kind of a no-brainer. Both characters are little girls, although one of them is a stone-cold killer…
Aurora as Cersei Lannister
Aurora is also known as Sleeping Beauty. She really has no connection to the incestuous Cersei Lannister other than the long blond hair.
